Hi,
I recently came across a message on one of the boards, but cannot remember which one (TW, here, ggtennis, gss) (and cannot find it back) of someone who posted a picture of a problem, that I also had recently.
On some rackets, the tie off of the last cross can be problematic because your knot is touching a main string, so the knot is actually pushing the main out of its straight line. This is happening on some rackets, where even the tie off instructions tell you to tie off exactly on the position, so it's not a stringing error.
On my personal racket (Wilson nCode nPro 98 18x18) I don't have the problem because I tie off the last cross on 7T, but if I would tie off the last cross on 12T, I would have the problem.
If anyone remembers having read the other post with the picture please share it here again.
My question of course is how do you "professionally" tie off in such a situation.
Thanks,
hvdb
