Djokovic must have truly overcome incredible odds. It was unattainable for him to surpass Sampras in slam count, and yet he managed to do it less than 4 years later. Truly incredible.

Yea but he did it against OLD Federer, Unrecognizable Sadface Nadal, MurrayThePuppet, Wawrinka, CilicTheChoker, NishikoriBendover,JuanDelinjury the others arent even worth mentioning they are even beyond bad.

I would love too see Djokovic pull this off facing 2004-06Federer/Henman/Gaudio/Coria/Roddick/Hewitt/Safins/Agassi of the early-mid 2000s

By ATP standards, they are worth six slams in terms of points. In terms of money, it's worth about four slams. Depending upon what you value most, the answer is somewhere in that region.

The only reason you want to "dumb down" the grand slam events is to elevate #Novak's stature historically, because even you (and the OP) know he'll never be as great as #PeteSampras. That's all.
