Do you know these players' backhand style?

To discover the trend of backhand style (one or two), I am collecting data on the backhand style used by tennis players ranked in top 100 since 1985.

There are about 676 players - a little too many to complete by myself. If you have time, I would appreciate if you could take a look at this google sheet and fill out any player's backhand style.

Thank you!

ps.
I will share the result once the list is complete and create visuals.

Dude... did you not think of checking if this data already exists?!!

The first site I checked seems to have it: http://www.tennisabstract.com

Scrape it or something.

Yes, I am well aware the data exists and considered scraping either tennisabstract.com or wikipedia.org
However, there is no actual analysis done on this data (ie. pattern over time, per nations, ranking, etc). Also, I figured if I crowdsourced from tennis enthusiasts, I could significantly (hopefully) reduce the number of requests that I need to make to the server.

No one is going to care if you query their website 700 times on a one-off basis.. Whereas humans having to fill in 700 rows in a spreadsheet, for existing data, is a giant waste of time. You'll also get a lot of errors.

I'm not trying to be disparaging here... but your original thought of just scraping it is clearly the way forward.

Look forward to seeing the stats you come up with!

Thanks for the suggestion and info! I did end up scraping the web for the data - still missing some info about the players in 80s.

Do you work with data mining/analysis ?
