Downtown Chicago

I just moved to Chicago for the summer and I am in the loop. Any one know familiar with the tennis scene in Chicago? Or does anyone want to hit or something? I found some courts nearby, but don't really have anyone good to play with.

In Chicago too. Here's a couple things to help you get started.

If you feel like being competitive, check out the Gladiator League, its a flex singles league and the number of members has grown, I've literally compiled a good group of people to hit with through that league itself.

Park District summer league has just kicked off too if doubles is your thing.

For Indoor tennis hit up McFetridge or XS Tennis, both are the least expensive options. XS is good for coaching, McFetridge also has a hitting group on Tuesdays and Thursdays I believe.

Or, if you just feel like hitting, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll gladly meet with u.

I'm just looking for some people to hit with maybe once a week. I'd say I'm around a 4.0-4.5 and all the people I live with, haven't been able to hold a rally of more than like 2 balls.

Does anybody know someone who has a RDC machine I need to find out some specs for my racquet that I can't do by myself such as swingweight and stiffness.

I live in the River North area and play at around the 4.0 level. My game is pretty consistent and can keep long rallies going. Let me know if youd like to hit sometime. Im not sure if the grant park courts are up again after lolla, but Im open to hitting there or other courts.
