i havent heard a player say that dunlops tend to crack. how well are the newer models like the aerogel and 4d lines go as far as quality. and is dunlop still one of the best when it comes to frames that dont crack. thanks

i mean comparred to all the other frames like babolat wilson etc, all of their 100 square inch frames.. how do dunlops new aerogel and 4d aerogel 100 square inch frames stand up in durability to lets say a babolat pure drive or a wilson blx pro open or a head prestige 100
Friend player at my club cracked a Dunlop 300 Tour 4D a couple of months ago. The racket was never abused, just cracked hitting a ball. Not saying they are inferior, just that they crack like any other. Got it replaced by the Tennis store he bought it at.
I have a few Dunlop frames, and have never had one crack. However, I'm not a really powerful hitter and try not to abuse my frames. I also never leave them in a hot car.

Dunlop frames are built like tanks.. great PJs..grommets system hold up well. Most of the bad press comes from Price O-Port frames and Babs.. K Blades.. to be sure.

I have all Dunlops.. 5 M-fil 400s 2 AD 500 Tours and one AG 300.. and they are very solid. Nice paint.. I know one player that snapped some 300G.. but he was a DI player swinging super fast... super hard.. serving 125 +

I just bought a second Srixon (Dunlop Japan) for my sister-inlaw. The Japanese player i bought it from had a more Game improvement model crack.
Having said that it was restrung every 2 weeks for 6 months. It's 10 mo. old & cracked in the throat on a high forehand volley.
One thing of concern is that Dunlop Japan only gives a 6 month warranty!
I have never had a problem my self.
