For those who watch the JMDP vs Federer match at the AO, who would have thought that this guy would beat Federer 8 months later at the USO?
Not me for sure. I thought back then that maybe JMDP was just destined to be just another player in the top 10 or top 20 but wouldn't reach the highest ranks.
But wow, it's amazing how he recovered from that double bagel, and put up a fight at RG and now winning Federer for the first time in his first ever slam final.
