Eagnas Hawk 10

I have just purchased an Eagnas Hawk 10 stringing machine. One reason I purchased it was because I got it for $50.00 and it is in brand new condition and I wanted a stringing machine that I could take to out of town tennis trips that would be easy to carry. If possible would anyone who has had experience with this stringer please comment or write a review? I am not so concerned about the machine being able to get exact precise results, I was just looking for a machine that was easily transportable.

Hackerman,

All the drop weights use the same principals. With practice you will get consistent results. I can't write a review, but basically it will work. The floating clamps are usually not the greatest on a machine that sells new for under 100, mounting system probably is probably another area that is less than ideal, not sure how the string gripper works....But it will work, it is easy to throw in the trunk of a car, and their is little to go wrong with it...Good luck with your new stringer...

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I am not naiive enough to believe that I am getting a top quality stringing machine for that price. All I really wanted was something that was easily transported to out of town matches. Trying to load up my other stringing machine is quite cumbersome and heavy. As long as I can re-string my racquets I will be happy!
