Sounds serious. Sorry to hear that.

You'd probably want to see a medical doctor or specialist vs. "online doctors" here. :)

I have seen doctors who have never had these injuries and advice you from their books. They have absolutely no clue. They give you the standard rest, ice, etc.. which is OK but I already know that.

I prefer to get advice from the 'older' players where I play. I know many 50-60 year olds who have been playing for 20+ years. Most have gone through every possible tennis injury and can provide very sound advice from experience.

but back to the OP.. go see a doc :)
and he will tell you to do the REST, ICE, REST, ICE, ICE (and then compression and massage and PT when it stops hurting.)

when you go to the doc see if platelet rich plasma therapy is for you

Larry funny you should mention that, ortho doc I went to recommended that procedure and I am getting it done this week-- new procedure where they take your own blood cells and inject into the tendon, supposed to make it stronger and ? heal quicker-- do you have experience with this he mentioned PRP or steroid injection but PRP sounds better longterm.

also said I'm supposed to do forearm strengthening exercises

can't take not playing!
