This thread started out somewhere else...

Only show worth watching on CBS is Person of Interest. It is half procedural/half serialised. Started off more procedural but over the last season especially the over-arching story has been fantastic.

Problem is that it's on CBS so it still has to have procedural elements lol. Having said that, even those episodes can be pretty fun at times but on the whole definitely a level lower the episodes dealing with the main plot. It's kinda impossible to have a really good serialised tv show that has 21-24 episodes per season though, somewhere the narrative loses steam. That's why I've always preferred the condensed season structure of British TV shows.

Good post. Person of Interest is one of the exceptions for me too, especially as the show has gone on.

Fella POI fans, we may need to start a POI appreciation thread in Odd & Ends...

Man, I used to take nights off to watch it right up to when Carter got killed off. Don't have that luxury anymore but I do want to catch up on it in the future. Glad others watch it!

I missed a lot of eps myself... kudos to CBS (and TV Guide) that got free full-episodes on their sites nowadays so that I can catch up.

Bummer to the death of Carter but you'll like the development this season :mrgreen:
