Exthree Stringing Machine

Has anyone heard of a exthree stringing machine . Im in Aust & just got a brochure on them & it appears to be the same machine as a Alpha blu dc . By the way the price of this machine is 1995.00 aud.Also this importer buys in a well known tension head from america puts his own brand label on it & sells it for 1900.00 aud so that would make this machine 3895.00 aud. My point is . Is there much of this Brand swapping that goes on. Seems to be a rort .

Private branding is very common with stringing machines. There are 3 or 4 companies in Taiwan and China that make many of them. Among them are Lillie-Lee, Poreex and XSpider. I had heard that the Wise tension head was being resold under another name in AUS. The markup seems high. Even at a 2-1 exchange rate to the USD, that's still twice the price they sell for in the US.
