Favorite Non-gut Hybrid Combo?

What is your favorite non-gut hybrid combo?

Right now, I'd have to say mine is Dunlop Black Widow 18g mains and Pro Supex Maxim Touch 17g crosses.

Really nice spin, hardly any movement, excellent feel that is crisp (but not stiff or hard), and with very good durability (so far).




(I once tried Weiss Cannon Silverstring 1.20 with Technifibre X-1 Biphase 18g crosses, but I think I strung it with too low a tension because it felt like mush.)

My recently concocted hybrid is giving me the same positive attributes you describe: Big Ace Micro 1.15 mains; Gosen OG 1.15 crosses. I cannot speak to durability yet. It is one sweet feeling set-up.

the "Ramon" special, Monogut ZX 1.28 mains and a thick Marathon DPC 1.40 cross in a 6.1 95S

Prince Beast Attack with the Premier Attack in the mains and Beast XP in the crosses. Plays wonderfully, but the durability is poor. Good thing I got 30 sets of it cheap!

So far it's Forten Sweet 51#/Solinco Tour Bite 19 48#. In a dense-patterned racquet? Heaven.

Topspin Cyberflash 17 mains at 46lbs, Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16 cross at 48lbs. Working quite well in my Wilson Pro Staff 95 BLX, although I may tweak the tension a little.
