Federer-Nadal final

The Federer-Nadal final seems inevitable now unfortunately. Federer only has Robredo and Roddick left, pretty much a formality; and Nadal has neither Blake or Berdych left anymore, and got past Murray, punch his ticket. So who wins and how many sets.

Don't underestimate Haas and Roddick! I think Roddick-Fed match may go 5 sets. And Haas may be ready to break through.

Roddick-Federer is 4 sets max and it is to Federer. More likely 3 for Federer though. Haas and Nadal would be an ugly semi, hopefully Davydenko makes it if it is Nadal to give him atleast a match.

Roddick won't stop Fed. Look at Safin's match against Roddick.
Roddick actually exposed his weakness there, but Safin is not as good as Fed, right now, to exploit it to defeat Roddick. However, Fed is the one who knows how to do so.

I agree. Gonzo has beaten Nadal 2 of the 3 times they met to. I'm a little nervous about this match.

With this surface and the recent momentum Federer has with the Wimbledon and TMC wins I go with Federer in 4. Nadal could very well take it to 5 or even win it, I just think Fed would take this one.

Gonzo has the tools to beat Nadal (ability to hit on the rise well, big forehand, good slice with alot of bite, decent backhand, big serve, moves well), he just needs the mentality to do it.

Wouldn't this be the match everyone is dying to see? Its not on clay or grass, or a fast hard court. This matchup would technically on paper be dead even. I say its a toss up to whoever is playing a bit better on that given day.....

I'm almost certain it will be a 5 set match but... as for who wins it I dunno. It will be pretty close. Nadal has been having some trouble like in the Murray match at developing depth in his balls and Federer is going to take advantage of that; however, what Nadal has going for him is that Federer's extreme eastern grip makes it hard to hit Nadal's ferocious "kicker" spin forehand balls.
