Federer: Nadal's losses to Djokovic could hurt him

If Federer ever mentioned anything about his opponents ("he was playing defensive" "I had my chances") he got slandered to all hell. Now when Nadal had something to say about Djokovic's celebration after winning Madrid, the same posters that were calling out Federer were fighting tooth and nail to save Rafa's honor.

Nadal/Federer fans can never let this stuff go and simply respect Federer/Nadal's opinions without putting their own crazy spin on it.

I think this says it all tbh. Nadal fans complaining about how one can't say anything about federer is hilarious. Roger is almost always criticized for his press conference comments and they get like atleast 7 pages of comments if not more. Anyone might mention that nadal is not exactly as humble as people think and all nadal fans won't have it.

When did Federer say that the losses to Djokovic carry no significance? All he said was, and I am paraphrasing, is that the losses are not the same for him.

Because when you lose easily in straights, you are being dominated. I don't care if your opponent blew you off the court, or you couldn't keep a ball in play...the point is that you massively (relatively) sucked in comparison to your opponent, not being able to play close to the same level...hence the easy scoreline.

the level of play federer displayed against nadal on clay in 2006 was just as good if not better than any clay giant 1990-2011 IMO. He held matchpoints on clay againt Nadal at his absolut best on the surface. It was a match that could have gone either way. Nadal these days looks asthmatic after a long point.

Nadal has lost to only Ferrer this year other than Djokovic. And he was clearly injured. If that isn't prime I don't know what to tell you. You're clearly a ****ing idiot if you honestly believe Nadal is not in his prime.

You and other's prime argument is rather weak. Nadal is not playing in top form, simple as that! As a matter of fact most of the top players are either injured or not in top form.
