this was just a hilarious article

“There’s not a day that goes by when someone doesn’t say, ‘Hey, you know who you look like?,” Cellemme says. “To me, I think it’s funny. I don’t really think I look like him, but a lot of people seem to think I do. It’s a conversation piece.”

USopen.org picks up the story:

It was on a morning last fall after Federer won his fifth Open that [a co-worker] mentioned to Cellemme he was especially looking like Federer that day before he headed to the Mets game.

Cellemme said because of his great seats and his late arrival, he immediately was besieged. “The guys behind me started to say, ‘Hey, there’s Federer,’ and people started coming down and asking for my autograph. Finally, some cute kid comes up and says he really, really wants an autograph, and so I finally scribbled something on his ticket stub because my friend told me to. It spread from there, and people kept sending balls to sign. The ushers tried to keep people in their seats. Some guy stands up and says, ‘I’ve got $2,000 that says that’s not Federer,’ and some guys stands up and says he’d take that bet.”

The story gets better. It turns out that one of the Mets’ CEOs walked past, gave Cellemme a nod and then once he came back to his seats he shook his hand and said, ‘Just in case you are Federer, congratulations.’ I found out later (Mets’ owner) Fred Wilpon had called my friend who gave me the seats and asked him why he wasn’t told Federer was going to be in those seats.”

An aspiring actor, Cellemme says that he’s ready if a movie is made about the 15-time Grand Slam champion. “If he needs someone to play him, just tell him to give me a call,” he said. “Of course I’d do it. But he better hurry up. I’m not getting any younger.”
