There is no denying their greatness.. But I think even the commentators, sponsors etc. at this point have to be going "Okk.. This getting a little suspect and ridiculous now how no one can step up to finally take these two down"

For christ sakes, Tstsipas had a better showing against Djokovic 2 years ago.. He can't even manage a set now? Thats not progress. Its going backwards. I wonder if they will begin to start pulling money out of the sport

You wonder ? It is already happening.

Did you not see McEnroe brothers, Brad Gilbert, James Blake, Jason Goodall give commentary from Connecticut instead of Melbourne ? That showed that nobody cares about the sport and ESPN does not want to spend the money on a dying sport.

They are just willing to pay for the cab from Queens, NY to Connecticut .

Djoko will end up being more successfull in his 30s compared to his 20s, at least on the slam level

And that's despite winning 12 slams in his 20s and having two three-slam years in his 20s (in the last 49 years, there have only been five three-slam years by players other than Djokovic).

Watch how they play instead of worrying about their age. Djokovic has been playing as aggressively as ever especially with his serve and FH for the last few months including at the AO where he bludgeoned everyone he played. Nadal played offensively also compared to his usual style for most of last year. If these guys were 25, we would all be complimenting them for the balance of aggression and consistency they bring to the highest level of the game - you can do the same now if you don’t think about their age. Why not root for the player who plays the highest level to win?

Serena was 35. (Like Navratilova, she did make a final at 37).

Look at what level hes playing being 35, its unbelievable.
It's very, very good yes. But look also at Tsitsipas. His best weapon, the forehand, caughed up more than 25 UEs. He took a full set to settle into the match even though losing the first vs Novak is a death sentence unless your name is Stan. And then he played two horrific TBs.

Novak could play a lot better this final, but he didn't need to cause Tsitsipas handed it too him at pivotal moments

So Djokovic take Australia open and Wimbledon. nadal takes french( except they switch one french and one australia to get DCGS). Rest of the players only get US.
