Forten Sweet vs E Matrix

Forten Sweet vs. E Matrix
Tell me what you think about these two strings. I am thinking about hybriding one of them with SPPP. The threads have told me Forten is both crisp and soft. And E Matrix has poor durability. But does it have poor durability in comparison to a regular synthetic gut or relative to polys or relative to other multis?

Forten Sweet is a syn gut, and E Matrix is a Multi. I would say Forten is a very soft feel for a syn gut. E Matrix isn't very durable, but then again neither is Forten Sweet. I would say that Forten Sweet lasts a little longer, but E Matrix will probably feel more comfortable if you're hybriding with Poly. Hope this helps

considering multi's in general are less durable than synthetic gut or poly, E-Matrix has poor durabliity in comparison to all three types of string.

I don't think I've ever heard of forten sweet 16 or 17 being described as crisp, but I've heard many people call it mushy. it's definitely a softer feeling synthetic gut.

If your goal is to soften the string bed then either string will work. The E-Matrix is a fairly soft multifilament that would work well with a poly main. It does cost $2 more per set than the Forten Sweet.
