Funny that a lot of tennis fans look down their nose at pro wrestling for being a work.

As does basketball, soccer, baseball, etc etc etc.

Fixing gets especially problematic in smaller leagues where the participants aren't making a ton of money. Wagers can be made on any level so it becomes easy for those wishing to make a buck to find a few competitors in a lower rung where they aren't as closely scrutinized.
