Title says it all, currently using a Gamma X-2 drop weight and have the opportunity to buy a Gamma 6002 ES in supposedly good condition for $125. Pics are pretty limited so hard to tell but was only used by a former tennis instructor at his home. I know the machine is really old so if the tensioner doesn’t work I’m fine with buying a wise or the Pros Pros MT 300. I guess my question is about the quality of the mounts, clamps etc as some of the limited reviews I could find people complained about the turntable flexing with higher tensions and clamps not being the best. Worth it?
I have another opportunity to buy a silent partner hip hop drop weight for $300 which looks to be in really good condition which I could add a wise or mt 300 to.
The gamma seems like the better deals unless the hip hop has a better turntable or clamps or has the benefit of using the drop weight if the wise or mt300 craps out
