what do you think of this for arm comfort and affordability? I have a couple of sets of the gaucho and a buddy who strings for me has the fat core. i like the fat core OK on it's on and have used it. Seems soft so I was thinking of putting it in the crosses at maybe 58 and then using the gaucho in the mains at maybe 60. Not sure whether the fat core is a syn gut or a multi.

From my limited experience, I find Gaucho strings very powerful. So I would try to do poly hybrids at higher tensions. I think Syn gut would just be too much power for me.

yea, I find them powerful too. I just do not want to use poly so I will probably stick with full bed of gaucho although I have found some regular synguts to be less powerful than multies. I never knew that a full bed of 15l would add this much weight to the head. It is a full 2 ptsd less headlight for sure.
