I recently purchased some Prince Tour 100T ESP frames. I have read a few positive reviews of Golden Set strings in this frame in full beds but am curious if:

1. anyone has experience with snake bite mains / power cord crosses in a spin effect frame

2. if so, has anyone tried going thinner gauge (17) on the cross and thicker gauge on the main?

3. If not, any comments about a twisted poly main / smooth poly cross in spin frames would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance everyone.

I'm playing Snake-bite 16 / Solinco Outlast 18 in my Yonex Ai100. It's a great combo as I've mentioned in a thread here recently.
The SB mains plays nice and durable so far. Excellent spin and comfort at low tension.
Like their Hex poly also but it didn't last as long as the SB.
Still testing various crosses including the Power cord I'll be ordering once i'm out of the SB.

Not breaking. Crosses do die before the mains. Outlast died softer while the GS Hex poly died stiffer. I can restring the crosses again and keep playing. The Snake-bite 16 slowly goes soft.

Thanks phanker. With the snake bite/outlast set up are your mains breaking or your crosses.
thx.
