Great Players and their babies

Some players and their *baby* versions, who are wanabees in comparison. If Players were Pokemon this would be their evolution process. Some next gen players here have the potential to evolve and no longer be wanabees.

What other babies are there?

Mostly fine except for Sampras>Becker>Raonic>Dent>Groth which I don't get.

Sampras; we all know how he played
Becker; Marginally worse than Sampras in all departments
Raonic; Most similar style of player to Sampras today, can serve and volley and forehand much stronger than backhand.
Dent; Big serve and volleyer. Somewhat better all round game than Groth.
Groth; Big serve, mediocre volleys, poor groundstrokes. A Challenger level Sampras, if you're being polite.

One and two-handed backhands simply cannot be in the same lineage.

Not necessarily. it's easy to compare Nadal to Muster despite the latter having a one hander for example.

Their strength/weaknesses and strategy is more important than whether they hit one or two handed backhands.

No.

BTW, Nadal cannot be compared to anyone.
