Grip size different between brands?

do you find that grip sizes are inconsistent between brands (I realise the actual shapes are different).

my prince 3/8 feels much smaller than the yonex 3/8 i had a while ago. Anyone else notice this? Do you know what brands have bigger or smaller grips?

I think most on here will say the shapes are different, but th "4and 3/8ths" bit is the size the handle should be in inches. If it's diffrent to that then you may have an incorrect size?
