Groundstrokes hitting the bottom of the racket.

I hit with a semi-western grip, topspin both with my forehand and double handed backhand and have a bad habit of hitting the ball on the bottom half of my racket instead of the center. Very frustrating indeed.
After much research I think I've discovered what my problem is....I'm being lazy and not bending my knees.
Since I'm hitting on the bottom of the racket it makes sense that I need to get the head of the racket lower in my back swing so when I hit the ball it will be more in the center instead of the bottom and bending my knees gets me and the racket in the correct position to hit clean, center shots.
So if any of you also hit the ball in the bottom half of the racket, try bending your knees more, it might help.
I just have to stop being lazy because after trying this I hit the center of the racket more consistently, however bending your knees will take more energy out of you.
This video explains it really well.

Give it a try.

Hmm, you aren't by any chance "looking up" or "pulling out of the shot" early, are you? This could also cause your racquet to move upwards and miss the contact point.

You may be right, I might be pulling up instead of focusing on the contact point but I find when I bend my knees I focus better.
Weird.
