Hardcourt shoes for Flat Feet?

So the Scarecrow wished he'd only had a brain and I wish I only had an arch because finding shoes that fit my flat feet are really difficult! When you have flat feet your feet are wider in the middle but not necessarily wider in the toe area and so wide shoes can be just too wide. Anyhow, I could probably do a 2E that wasn't too wide? I don't need tons of support since I don't weigh that much but I do want some decent cushioning. Appreciate any assistance. Thanks

Nike Vapor Cage 4 have worked really well for me. I abandoned Nike Shoes 20 years ago but tried these on a whim and found them really comfy. Bought the pair and have put in about 50 hours of solid court time thus far with zero foot pain.

So heavy!

Best For Flat Feet

Nike GP Turbo
Adidas SoleCourt Boost
Adidas SM Bounce
Adidas Ubersonic 4
Diadora Blushield 5
Asics Court FF 2
Asics Solution Speed FF 2
Lotto Mirage 100 SPD
Lotto Raptor Hyperpulse 100
Yonex Eclipsion 3
Asics Gel Resolution 8

All of these are much better than the Vapor Cage 4 IMO.

What I have learn from flat feet is it matters less about the shoe and more about the insole. Put a pair of superfeet green or powerstep pinnacle orthotics in any shoe and you will be golden. I’ve worn all kinds of shoes and all of them are fine with insoles.

I'm wearing KSwiss Ultrashot 2s with Dr Scholl's Running insoles for work as a mechanic. I'm on my feet all day on concrete. Also have Asics Gel Kayano 23 running shoes and Adidas Club tennis shoes. If I hadn't found another pair of Ultrashots, I would've considered Adidas Solecourt Boost and Asics Gel Challengers.

What I have found from my doctor and my research is that wearing corrective insoles just because your feet are flat can do more harm than good. They alter your "natural" pronation and alignment - and that is not always beneficial. MY doctor says NOW they only recommend insoles if there is pain or an actual issue to address (plantar faciatis, heel pain, etc). In my case, the insoles created a hip alignment issue that led to knee pain I never had before.

The Adidas Solecourt Boost is a great shoe for everyone with foot and ankle issues. Check out the reviews on Youtube by Foot Doctor Zach.

I ended up trying a bunch of shoes and even a 2E Asics but I settled on a Babolat Jet Mach II All Court and sized up a 1/2 size and they are working pretty well and without insoles. Definitely on the lighter side of things and lacking some in the support department but so far so good and there's no hard surfaces on the footbed pressing against my flat feet so all in all I'm happy with the purchase. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Wow, that guy is legit! Cutting the shoe in half lengthwise is very helpful. (I did try another version of this shoe but it had those weird flange outrigger bars on the sides that were overkill IMO and I didn't like them..) If the Babolat shoes I bought don't work out I'm definitely checking this one out. Thanks for responding.

I have the exact same issue, struggle finding any sort of shoes that fit me well.

Currently using:
Nike Cage 4, quite long, not too wide, very heavy - don't rate at all
Asics Solution Speed FF 2 - great shoes, fit well, light, comfy, annoying rubber clicks around toes but is forgivable, hoping to replace the Nikes with a pair of these for HC.

How about Babolat SFX3's?
I have wide feet, yet I'm not sure if flat feet are the same thing. I like cushioned shoes with a decent width and thick sole; Prince T22, 22-lites, and the SFX3. My gripe with the SFX is the front sole or insole is not cushioned enough.
