head FiberGel 16g, tension maintenance

Anybody has experiences with Head FiberGel 16g string ?
(not FiberGel Power)

I usually string my frames by myself but last week
I had my local pro shop string my Head FXP Prestige MidPlus at 57 lbs.

After about 2 hour of playing, String meter readings on mains
were at low 40's. (lbs) Then after a few more hours, its readings are
at 30 something and I cut them out.

I'm wondering if Head FiberGel 16 has such a poor tension
maintenance or this local pro shop did some mistake (for
example, used 47 lbs instead of 57 lbs ?)

Very suspicious. Because when I string, right after I string most
synthetics at around 60 lbs, String meter reading is at around ~50 lbs.....

It rated about average in USRSA playtests with some testers fairing better than others. This is probably a string that is fairly stretchy and would be better prestretched or strung very deliberately on a CP machine. The initial tension loss on it after stringing in the USRSA playtest was only 8% which isn't bad. They string their test frames on a CP machine.

Thanks Kevo. Since I switched to a new frame, I'll have to do some
experiments with strings. I think I'll give another try on FiberGel.
Thanks,

BTW, FiberGel Power rated higher than FiberGel, and I liked that string quite a bit myself. It is also unusually light for a 16g which might help you out if you like to spin the ball a lot.

Quick question, is there really any reason to stick with Fibergel over Fibergel Power? The USRSA reviews insinuate that Power is better than its predecessor in all aspects, and the prices are the same. Granted, I've never played with either before, but I'm curious all the same.
