Head Prestige 600 String Pattern

I have an unstrung Head Prestige 600 (silver/lime). The handle indicates the suggested tension at 53lb and string pattern 16x19. I thought the string pattern is 18 x 20. It has the same number of holes (76) as my PC600, which is 18 x 20.

Is it mislabeled?

It is mislabeled. I have at least one silver/grey with green grommets Prestige 600 that is mislabeled. The correct string pattern and tension is identical to the Prestige Classic 600.

I have been wishing for an open version of prestige mid for many years, oh man it would be the perfect frame!!

You can try obtaining a TGK237.2? I'm going to get a Calibre 600 soon just to see how a midsize 16x19 Head plays like... although it has a wider beam than the Prestige 600.

It's my 2nd favourite, but it's a better frame with a bit of lead at 3/9, or replace the non-CAP green grommets with CAPs. More solid and stable that way. I thought the Prestige Pro 600 (brown fading to red) is by far the best, it's really amazing when strung with a top multi or gut. Nothing beats the incredible feel. Before I only have 1 PP600 and it's new, so I had a hard time holding myself back and just play with the Prestige 600 which I have a few of.:lol: but since then I've acquired one more PP600, and use it most of the time now. And looking for more!

No, will probably keep all actually.:twisted: the beautiful lime green/silver cosmetics has to be one of my all time favourites, it will take something quite special for them to leave my closet...:lol:

It seems that you have a healthy collection of Head Classics. Sometimes it's hard to part with any of the raquets. I am still feeling the pain of letting one of my near mint PC600 go recently.

I figure I'll only let some go if I manage to obtain more in near new condition...:lol: yes I saw your post in the for sale section, quite a few there, why did you sell?
