Lleton Hewitt has annoucnced that his fionce Bac Cartwright is 3 months pregnant. Do u think that this will affect his career

Maybe it will help him settle down a little bit and be a better sportsman. On the other hand, he's not the biggest guy on tour, so his feistiness and attitude is a lot of what has gotten him to where he is today.

This could go either way, but I think he has pretty strong family support no matter what.

yes, but it wasn't because of his marriage. he was getting old and couldn't compete with the young guns anymore. however, he still reached U.S. open finals twice (I think) before winning his 14th grandslam.

mabu so you think, but the truth is if you wanna be great stay away from women and alcohol. Women causes too much stress that bring down your focus level.

This is why all the player/mac dady in your high school never became good top students. Atleast i can say that about my ex high school.

My parents use to tell me to stay away from girls wile in school. I didn't listen to them, i got so serious with a girl during those years, I was with her for 4 years. Working on relationship and put up with all the dramas. I though we had future. guess what, I screwed up my high school years.At the end she left me ne way.

I lost 4 years of my life. I don't blame her, I blame my self. I should have been smarter. I was very dumb ( and still am but lil wiser). Its not like before i met the girl, i was genious. but, I think i didn't live up to my expaction.

So my brothers out there. if you are serious about something in your life, keep doing that and keep your mind in focus.stay out of serious relationships. Girls will always be there, matter of fact my elders use to tell me: "as a guy get older, he becomes more attractive ."

As for hewitt, I think baby and if he gets in the marriage it will take a toll on his career.
Because both things are too havey for his mind to handle. He will lose focus in the matches. but, i hope im wrong because i love hewitt and his game. I pray God helps him and keeps him strong and healthy.

By the way im in my first year in college and im doing Pretty well. I have 4.0 GPA. ( i know my spelling and english sucks) But i am working hard and without any distraction im doing very good in my college life. More importantly im happy.

You guys are all talking about how Hewitt might be screwed with this baby, and I guess that's appropriate since this is a tennis board, but think about how Cartwright's career is messed up. Shes 19 (younger than me!), and she is having a kid that could potentially ruin her acting career. Hopefully Hewitt and her are really devoted, even though the proposal came after about 2 months of dating.
