Hewitt's smiling face two-handed backhand

Need help with two-handed backhand.

I tried to copy Agassi's short take back two-handed backhand. I could hit it accurately, but I do not have much power. I can use this short take back swing on the baseline or inside the baseline, and control the ball very well. But once I got pushed back to a few feet behind the baseline, I feel like I am just pushing the ball with this short take back.

Would Hewitt's smiling face, straight arm swing be helpful? or should I keep a bent arm on take back and then straighten as I swing?

What is most people's opinion about his simple, straight-armed, smiling face swing?

I play from the center, inside the baseline. There is not much time for big take back, otherwise I would hit most balls late.

What would be the best swing patter for two-handed backhand inside baseline? Short take-back with straight-arm or bent arm?

Why do some people say Hewitt's backhand is not a good model to copy?

Wel, I use two handed backhand with short swing and I would encourage you to use it because it is very acurate and excellent at passing shots. But, when i find myself behind the baseline and ball is coming to me deep at backhand side, I can use one hand backhand slice in defensive situations but i don't have problem hitting deep with my 2HB. Just make sure that with 2HB, your left shoulder goes down and your right shoulder rotate properly. I would not worry about the power of your 2HB as long as you have good contact and placement which is good enough. Just use it for for construction of your points and let your forehand do the damage, If you are presumly right hand player.
