How lond do your grips last?

So I'm just now paying attention to grips since I started using the Pro Staff 90 with its leather (which I hadn't felt in ages).

What's always intrigued me is that despite the fact I sweat a ton on my palms, my grips have lasted an incredibly long time (by judgement of most).

For example, I got my Wilson N-Code with Micro-Dry grip and never changed it during the course of two summer seasons which included tournament play. It's still on there but now with two significant tears on both sides.

I also used overgrips as my grip on training racquets that I changed 2-3 times a season.

For me, honestly, I prefer the feel of sweated grips. Whenever I have fresh grips I have more slipping until I get several matches in and there's very visible sweat stain.

What about the rest of you?

It's also about:

a) Comfort/protection, something that you can test by pushing against them.
Hence I change mine each 3-4th string job, meaning 3-4 times per year.

b) Grip size. That might change in time if the grip becomes compressed. Or in my case atm, since I'm using 2 grips and an overgrip, trying to go to a bigger size, I can tell the difference in time, alas...Hence grips builders or hockey tape next time.

Ah and I don't like sweaty grips, nor overgrips.

Depending of the OG I use, the answer is often when I feel it has lost its proprieties. Generally 3 or 4 hours and it's time to change. I usually buy 30 packs.
EDIT: I must mention that I never use bare grip. I don't like to use up the grip, costs much more to replace. Absorbing OG when it's really hot, and slightly tacky but not too much otherwise.

I use leather + Tourna Grip.

The leather grip I'm not sure but it can last a very long time.

The Tourna depending on how I sweat. At worst, I switch sides after 2 hours then throw it away after another two. At best, it can last 4 hours on one side, then another 2 on the other side. If I don't switch this fast, it becomes slippery and I have to tighten up my grip.

I also have the ProStaff 90 leather grip, with the Wilson Pro overgrip.
I change the white overgrips often, as they get dirty quickly.

I have not replaced the actual leather grip yet, but will do so very soon I think. The original Wilson leather grip has already compressed more than I would have expected in such a short amount of play time. I'm thinking to replace it with Head leather, see if it lasts longer.

Solinco wondergrips are the best kept secret......last over a month, I just change them cause they get dirty. Best grip for the price hands down. And they stay tacky

My Wilson Pro Overgrip lasts me 1 week when it's hot/humid (Late Spring/Summer). It lasts 2.5 weeks during the colder seasons.

Exactly, at a cost of $1 it's a non bra-inner for me (at some point I was even using them on both sides).

I second this that they are a great grip. I love them and they are pretty cheap too and last longer than supergrap and Wilson pro for me.

I use overgrips on a replacement. I used to use Yonex Supergrap before, which gave me about 3 days or about 9-15 hours in the summer. (I never get sweaty hands) But, now I use Pacific x Tack and I love it! More tack and it lasts as long as I want it to...
I've gone to 3 weeks at maximum before changing it because the overgrip that used to be white looked gross.

I use leather and I've never replaced it. I change my over grip every 3-4 times hitting it tends to start feeling worn and all tac is gone by this point but mostly because it starts fraying.

If you wear a wristband and don't sweat profusely, then you can play every day for at least two weeks with a tacky grip from Gamma.

I even use Pro's Pro OG to save even more. Don't think OG are worth much more given how qhort they last, whatever their brand (minus few exceptions). TBH, wristband seems to affect the way I handle the racquet and are useless for sweat absorption as far as I am concerned. Often use it on my off hand to wipe my face rather than my racquet hand even though I have a 1HBH.
