How to add weight to the handle of a foam filled K95?

I purchased a k95 awhile ago and recently realized that the inside of the handle is packed with styrofoam.. Is this normal for k95s, or did the previous owner of this racket do it? Also, does this mean that the only way I would be able to add weight to the handle would be to wrap lead tape underneath the grip?

either that or just put a leather grip on it.

If your hands can take the firmer feel then leather is an excellent option. They can easily add 18-20 grams of weight. I always use an over grip with leather, Yonex Super Grap Black.

take the fishing weights of various oz. sizes and pound them down flat with a hammer. sandwich the lead with some adhesive weather stripping, adhesive side to the lead. insert that in the cavity between the foam and the butcap. then press on the butcap. use enough weather stripping that it makes for a snugg fit. not too much that it is a struggle to get the cap on.

this way you can adjust the amount of weight during a match. all you need are differnt weighted sammiches of lead and foam and a small regular screw driver in your bag. On change of side you can pop out and replace your weights. cant do that with weight under your grip.
