How to be consistent on the super kicker?

Last night I hit a kicker that my 6 ft 4in friend almost needed a stool to get. Luckily his big ol arms that are taller than me 5'10 got the ball. I'm wondering how do I consistently hit this kicker? In doubles its a little harder for me because I fear for hitting my partner on the ad side. In single's I get it a lot more where it hits the line near the alley and just explodes into the fence or the next court. Is there things I make sure I do every serve? Oh yeah and I use a continental grip on the kicker

Maintain the highest net clearance possible, aim for the longest court, swing as fast as you can control, keep the toss exactly the same, and hit 200 every week for a year.

I think you got lucky on that one (i.e. hit a rough spot on the court).

however still you can do a lot to improve your kicker. Increase RHS (mostly up not forward) and hit it higher over the net as LeeD said correctly.

I've played people who could regularly kick a ball over my head (if I let rise to that point), with good pace, and I'm touch over 6 ft. tall. My kicker can get up into the 6' range.

Having a nice high kicker is nice, but once you get to a certain level, say 4.0, most guys have seen it, lost to it, and have tried various counters to return with aggressive low shots.
I'm a lefty with a solid 6' kicker onto the duece wide intersect. Guys who play me often, and better players, just step in and crush it sliced, topped, sidespin, or whatever, and make me fetch like a dog.
However, throw in some low skidded slices...at the same location, some fast flats (at least faster than my 70 mph maxed kickers, and the results start to favor the server.
Variety is one spice of life, never forget that. You need ALL the serves, not just kickers.

As I said, it don't matter how high a kicker you hit, it's what you do with it and after you hit it.
You can lose the point on your fastest most perfectly placed serve, highest or LOWEST kicker, or any "perfect" shot.
Those anomoly serves are good for ego and talk, but can't be replicated so forget about them.
