I have Pure Strike 2017 which has a RA of 67, and is known as not the most arm friendly racquet out there.
However, it is a powerful and precise racquet, and I would prefer to not give it up because of my elbow issues.
To make it a bit more arm friendly, I am going to string it with Wilson Sensation 17 (multifilament, well-regarded, and affordable), and strung at around 54, expecting it to drop to 50-48 lbs in a week.
I will also put on Babolat Xcel gel replacement grip to absorb extra vibrations.
Do you have other recommendations for how could I make this excellent racquet a bit more arm friendly?
NOTE: I play regularly with Wilson Clash Tour, and Prince TT 310 as my arm friendly choices, but I would like to experiment with Pure Strike too.
