How to make Pure Strike a bit more arm friendly, and reduce its impact on the elbow

I have Pure Strike 2017 which has a RA of 67, and is known as not the most arm friendly racquet out there.
However, it is a powerful and precise racquet, and I would prefer to not give it up because of my elbow issues.

To make it a bit more arm friendly, I am going to string it with Wilson Sensation 17 (multifilament, well-regarded, and affordable), and strung at around 54, expecting it to drop to 50-48 lbs in a week.
I will also put on Babolat Xcel gel replacement grip to absorb extra vibrations.

Do you have other recommendations for how could I make this excellent racquet a bit more arm friendly?

NOTE: I play regularly with Wilson Clash Tour, and Prince TT 310 as my arm friendly choices, but I would like to experiment with Pure Strike too.

One way is to reduce its balance towards more head-light by adding few grams of weight to its handle. For example, in my case with the 3rd gen PS Tour, I moved the balance 4 mm to 316 mm and it was enough to eliminate elbow soreness even though I use full bed poly.

Prior to the lockdown, I was playing with Gen1 with fullbed of Syn gut at 48/44. I cut it out about every 8 to 10 hours. Have also bumped up the SW and the balance was about 33.5cm.
No issues with the arm/shoulder. I am in the mid 40’s.
The multi would be a good options, but I would start at 50 or 52 first and see if that works for you and go from there.

Edit - 98 & 16x19

Thanks. Sounds like a reasonable choice.

Here's what I did to my PS17 18x20. Very comfortable.
  • Wilson shockshield replacement grip
  • Memory foam stuffed in the butt
  • Worm dampener (TW or Head [specifically in the Head Premium Accessory Pack]). Most other sucks or don't work. Rubber has to be super soft basically.
  • Natural gut / soft poly (Head Hawk Touch 17) @ 57/48 (Hoop is very stiff so it crosses need lowered tension than mains to not dominate feel)
  • Progressive cross tension (lower at the top and bottom of frame)
I also found an underspec'd PS17 to play much softer than overspec'ed ones based on experience. Mine came in 7gm under the spec 305gm.
