Hybrid strings warping the racquets?

Noticed this few times (in Pure Aero and 360+ Prestige Pro); poly mains and syn. gut crosses, usually strung in the same tension. The head shape looks fine initially, but slowly changes over time, going from relatively circular to elliptical; more elongated in the poly direction, mains in this case. This seems to happen as the poly starts losing its tension more than syn gut. Same racquet with a full bed of poly looks normal! Did not notice this with poly/multi hybrids so far!!

Anyone else noticed this? Will that damage the frame?

Anyways I am planning to string those with a full bed of poly or full bed of syn. gut.

How much differential are you using like over 5 lb difference mains and crosses? I read an article that recommends 3-4 lb difference max. Are you doing like 10 lb difference?

Instead of using the same tension try lowering the cross tension. Take a look at the Stringway on line tension advisor. That tool usually suggests lower cross tension than main tension for most frames. What Have you got to lose?

In this case, only 1 lb difference! Had Gamma fat core strings in the crosses and maybe that held the tension much better compared to the poly mains.

The problem with that approach is that initially the polys are good and the balls fly with lower syn gut crosses.

Will require experiments.

For now, just going with full poly. 360+ Prestige Pro is good with that!

IIRC this was mentioned by Dennis Fabian (not sure of official title, Product Manager for Strings at Head?)

But I can't remember if it was in the Tennisnerd interview, or the TW podcast where he discussed it.
