If Nadal wins the final against Djokovic it will be a huge upset

After watching the highlights from the Djokovic SF it seems clear to me that peak Djokovic has arrived. If Nadal somewhat manages to win on Sunday it will be a huge upset, because the momentum in the matchup is against him, he is playing in his worst (and Djokovic's best) slam, and Djokovic is at peak level right now. I'm still hopeful a miracle will happen, but it's going to be very hard.

Would be odd if Nadal just picks him up and breaks his spine over his knee
Not sure if they give him the trophy or would he go to jail

Go Nadal

And rested. Please do it Rafa. We know he has it in him, he just has to deliver.
Both guys are probably nervous af. I expect nervousness in the first few games.

Don't get your hopes up too high bro. If it's meant to be it'll happen. Rafa will do his best and we'll all move on one way or the other.

According to Jim Courier, Nadal is playing his best tennis ever at this Aus Open. We are witnessing ‘peak’ Nadal.

The 7-0 streak for Nole on hardcourt against Rafa is really pretty much meaningless. Those matches are just a mix of 2015/2016 Rafa woes and end of season Asian swing losses. They have nothing to do with what Rafa is capable of tomorrow.

hahahahahahahahahahaha

I think he would have been better off with Novak having the 2 days in retrospect, but water under the bridge. Let's hope Nadal has a great rest of the season like 2017 when he lost the AO final.

How things change in one day ...

if Pouille had something in common with Rafael, then you'd have a point.....
but the only thing they have in common is they were both born on planet earth:)
if won't be a surprise to see Rafael beat Djokovic in straight sets, because Rafael is the absolute opposite to Pouille.

Rafael beat Djokovic at 2010 and 2013 US Opens, both were in 4 sets and extremely lopsided 4th sets.
the AO is now faster than the USO, we are essentially playing at 2010/2013 US Open now, and Djokovic hasn't won the AO since it became faster.....
I knew this was almost impossible, but I never expected what happened. Nadal has never looked worse in a slam final. It was painful to watch. I almost feel like this is to the Nadal-Djokovic rivalry what the RG08 Final was to the Federer-Nadal rivalry.

There is absolutely zero scenario here that ends in Ned winning

Its a relatively tall man going up against God himself

The only fear should be Djoker running straight past Ned in the legacy sweepstakes
Djoker didn't even break a sweat but Nadal was completely out of sorts. I see Djoker as the GOAT in 3 years' time.

One thing to look for in tomorrow's match is whether Djokovic can hurt Nadal on the second serve.

In many of their previous encounters, Djokovic would feast on Nadal's service games.

Nadal was always in trouble anytime he missed the first serve because Djokovic was such an adept returner and could run him ragged for hours on end.

This strategy worked well for Djokovic and he was able to dominate Nadal on every surface but clay.

Now that Nadal has improved his second serve and is keeping the rallies shorter during his matches, it's going to change up things up quite radically for Novak Djokovic, who is going to have to adjust to the new Nadal.

Djokovic is playing an opponent who has improved the former weak-points of his game.

Nadal is also playing some of the best tennis of his life right now.

All things considered, I think it's going to be a tough road for Djokovic on Sunday.

If only you had been a little closer to the mark. :(
