IG YT Extreme MP "Buzzing"

I currently use the IG YT Extreme MP, and have used the Extreme for about 5yrs (skipped the YT Extreme year, just kept the older Microgels).

I have 3 frames, all strung the same (MSV Focus Hex 1.18/Gosen OGMS 17), but 2 of them have a "buzzing" sound I've never encountered in any of my (or other clients) frames before.

I have the Yonex dampener, have checked the butt cap for looseness/cracks, checked if any knot tie-off was touching the frame (which may have fixed one of the 2).

Has anyone else using the current IG YT Extreme encountered this, or has any possible lead into what it may be? Thanks in advance!

i had this issue with one of my dc pros. one of them felt/sounded fine, but the other one buzzed and vibrated even with a dampener. never really figured out what it was, but it went away after a restring. i think it might have been part of the grommet that wasn't seated properly or maybe some small particle caught between the frame and head guard. i blew air in the space between the head guard and frame and made sure the grommets were all seated nice and snug and it was fine on the next string job. i've also heard it could be a crack in the frame, though my sticks were brand new. hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I did forget to mention that I replaced one two grommets, but didn't try to blow air through everything. The new grommet setup compared to the old just doesn't seem that it would stay snug enough after repeated hitting. I tried to look for a crack but couldn't find anything, and the paint job makes it hard to see any possible hairline splits...it's kind of irritating lol
