When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
I have already guessed it.When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
She has not finished thinking about that.beginning to think?
You could always move to Manacor.
When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
Rafa is interested!
On the contrary, I have been a tennis fan forever although I took a sabatical during the TMF days. I still don't get the Federer hype. You do not like tennis itself, just another glory hunter.
We will never witness such competition and level as we have the last 15 years plus. Tennis is not as entertaining and competitive and will suffer because of it.On the contrary, I have been a tennis fan forever although I took a sabatical during the TMF days. I still don't get the Federer hype.
NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. You will find player(s) to cheer for as long as you keep watching. When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.

When did you start following tennis? And who were your favourite players before Rafa? I'm seriously interested now. I somewhat thought Rafa was like a teenage crush for you and you stayed with it (which shouldn't sound negative in any way).On the contrary, I have been a tennis fan forever although I took a sabatical during the TMF days. Teenage crush. That's funny. McEnroe was my favourite player after that I didn't really have a favourite but I enjoyed the following era with Edberg and co who played really exciting tennis. We used to camp in the field at Wimbledon to get tickets and we often got complimentary tickets from my husband's work. I wasn't a fan of Sampras or Agassi but there were interesting players like Ivanesevic. I'm not just saying this but I got disillusioned in the early 2000s because the matches were not competitive. Then Rafa came along and he has raised the bar so high that it would be hard for any other player to match it.When did you start following tennis? And who were your favourite players before Rafa? Probably.Does it mean you will stop coming on TTW ?
I agree, very Boooooring! This MC has brought it to the fore. It is sooooooo boring.
When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
This is similar with me from 2002-2008 I wasn’t really into tennis watched it here and there after Pete wasn’t competitive the rivalry of Fedal really pulled me in again!NEVER put all your eggs in one basket. You will find player(s) to cheer for as long as you keep watching.
When Pete retired, I thought I would be done with tennis. I didn't like Federer and the new batch of youngsters (then) didn't excite me.
But then Nadal came along, and so did Novak. And suddenly the big 3 made tennis exciting again.
I am on that same boat. When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
You could always move to Manacor.
The moast famous "back seat" in the tennis, no?When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
In theory, is there anything you don't know about Rafa?Hi, Fed devotee! You posted a picture of Rafa sitting on his grandma's balcony in Porto Cristo, but this is the place everyone can see Rafa:
I think, every Rafa fan knows he founded his academy in his hometown of Manacor. In theory, is there anything you don't know about Rafa?
Probably, but I bet you're one of very few who know what the view from his grandma's balcony in Porto Cristo looks like.I think, every Rafa fan knows he founded his academy in his hometown of Manacor.

She’s my Rafa encyclopediaProbably, but I bet you're one of very few who know what the view from his grandma's balcony in Porto Cristo looks like.
It's not a dig though. I'm actually impressed by how informed you are about anything that has to do with Rafa.
Rafa's grandparents have been interviewed for Spanish TV channels at home.Probably, but I bet you're one of very few who know what the view from his grandma's balcony in Porto Cristo looks like.

You might actually live your best life once Nadal is no longer in your head 24/7When Rafa retires, tennis will take a back seat in my life.
True. Most of these worshippers disappear when their guy isn't in the picture. You do not like tennis itself, just another glory hunter.
And then you'll disappear from this forum altogether once the big 2 are done.I tuned in to watch Davidovich Fokina the other day but that will probably be the only match I watch in Monte Carlo.
For me it's more being spoiled by how epic tennis was from 06-2013. Plus the Wta falling off a cliff for me. I watch things to be entertained, there won't be much to entertain me once the king is gone.
And then you'll disappear from this forum altogether once the big 2 are done.
I wonder, if you continue to create lies about Rafa after he retires or not.You might actually live your best life once Nadal is no longer in your head 24/7
I would like to know something about the parents of the neighbors of Rafa’s fourth cousin from his maternal line. Can you help me out?Rafa's grandparents have been interviewed for Spanish TV channels at home.

I might end up there, but I first aimed for the best service available.
Your referencs to dark days is as vitrolic as it can. Nalbandian,Federer,Safin,Hass and robredo these guys were pure technicians of shotmaking. No doubt about it both the WTA and ATP have gone through periods where the tennis is like watching paint dry and you almost lose the will to go on.
Those dark days of Federer, Phillippoussis, Roddick, Ljubicic, Robredo, Davydenko, Nalbandian, Blake, Pim Pim Johannson, Tursunov, Gonzalez ... such tennis-thick players brainlessly smashing the ball, playing ugly tennis, without any semblance of a clear plan, were the worst. But we have seen it only takes one intelligent player to change the game, overthrow hegemony and allow the next gen to break through and tennis is compelling again.
