I'm looking for new MID shoes ! please help

Hi

My current tennis shoes are Nike Air Resolve Mid cut that were great but know I need to replace them.
Which pair of shoes would you recommand for someone who is looking for a high ankle support , some extra playability.

Why Nike stop making such shoes ?

haha I was going to suggest the air resolves. As far as I know, there is a new model of the air resolves released. And if you still like the original ones, TW has them for sale at a reduced price (59.99) I think. Mine are still going strong after 9 months. I love them!

What reduced price ? 59.99 is the price I bought them 7 months ago but not from TW

Why adidas and reebok don't offer mid shoes ?
And what about K-swiss mid shoes ?

kswiss's ultrascendors are far better shes than the resolves. Cushioning is better but still low to the ground. For shoes that supposedly had air max and air zoom, the cushioning on the resolves were horrible. I currently use the BF II's but to be honest, they're not much better than my ultrascendors.

I really like the Prince Aerotype Viper II Mids. Not everyone likes these as they are a bit heavy and bootlike. But, they give you really good support, look nice and are quite comfortable. It's my favorite shoe for tennis and workouts, etc. Read the feedback at the TW location, and if you can tolerate the weight, consider these.

I like Prince Scream QT Mid for speed and Viper III mid for stability.

Manufacturers are increasingly avoiding producing Mid top shoes supposedly
because there aren't enough demand to justify manufacturing cost,
which I do not really get it. Lots of people often have problems with their
ankles and they want mid top. I think it's quite more feasible to produce
mid top version of very popular shoes like Addidas Barricade than producing
new shoes or new colors with unkown market demands...
Well, hope they produce more mid tops....

diadora protech da2's are excellent. Weight is not an issue whatsoever. Nice cushion. Very durable too.

I'd bet if more pros wore mid-tops, the demand for mid-tops would be higher. I think a lot of people just want to buy and wear what the pros wear, whether it makes sense or not.

That's correct. But because of this, fans see them wearing the low tops so that's what fans want to buy. I'd bet if more pros wore mid-tops instead of low-tops with ankle braces, more people would also buy the mid-tops.
