Hi, TripleATeam here. I'm not @Krish872007, but I figure they're busy, so I'll just get this thread up here until they find the time to make the official threads.

In fear of doing anything wrong, I'm going to pretty much copy/paste the 2018 version here.

BEGIN:
Hello and welcome to our final event in the 2019 ATP Sudden Death League season!

Nitto ATP World Tour Finals
O2 Arena, London, UK
10 - 17 November, 2019
Indoor Hardcourt

This event is open to everyone.

There will be a WTF Bonus Competition exclusively for the Top 8 in the Race/Rankings running side by side with this - the thread for that will be up later this week.

RULES (World Tour Finals):

1. Every day of the tournament that day's matches will be posted. You pick one player who you think is going to win. It's a knock out-system: if the player you picked wins, you're through to the next round. If he loses, you're out.

2. You have to pick one player per Round Robin day. In the semis and finals you pick one player per round.

3. During the round robin portion of the event, you can only pick a player ONCE. However, upon reaching the Semi-Finals, your picks will be re-set, so you can then pick a player you previously picked in the Round Robin.

4. You can't pick a player from a match that has started already.

5. You cannot advance to the next round via a walkover since it is hard to know exactly when someone announced they were pulling out HOWEVER this rule does not apply once you reach the semifinals

6. Since you can no longer win a match by a walkover it is highly advised that you make a back-up pick to your main pick - when listing your picks make sure you specify which is your back-up.

7. If the player you picked retires during the match, you're out. If he retires before the match, your back-up pick will be used.

8. If the opponent of the person you picked withdraws and is replaced by a lucky loser your original pick will stand unless you specifically change it. [Usual caveat applies - if you let me know clearly in advance, that's a different issue]

9. NEVER edit your pick. If you want to change your pick, please quote your old pick and choose a new player. Edited posts will not be taken into consideration.

2019 LEAGUE FILE

As with anything, make your picks strategically. The picks from the Paris thread will be honored, I'm sure, but I just want the info to be in its own place if we can manage that. :)

Hamnavoe will be second alternate.

RULES (World Tour Finals - TOP 8 BONUS):

1. You only need to make one pick per RR round (only 3 total), not day.
Note: RR1 will combine Sunday's/Monday's matches, RR2 will combine Tuesday's/Wednesday's matches and RR3 will combine Thursday's/Friday's matches.

2a. In the semis and finals, you pick one player per round.

2b. Your picks will not be re-set for the Semis and Final (i.e: you can not pick a player for the SF or Final who you already used in the Round Robin). Obviously it's important to make smart choices in the RR to get far. If you somehow have no players left to pick, you're out as well.

3. Your picks for the bonus competition can be different or identical to your picks in the regular competition, according to your wishes.

Pick Structure:
Pick 1: Round Robin 1 (both groups - Sunday/Monday)
Pick 2: Round Robin 2 (both groups - Tuesday/Wednesday)
Pick 3: Round Robin 3 (both groups - Thursday/Friday)
Pick 4: Semi-Finals
Pick 5: The Final

SAVE PICKS

What are they?

We will be awarding Save Picks for the 2020 SDL Season to our exceptional performers. If you are awarded a Save Pick, you can use it to advance in a tournament in the event that your main pick player loses or retires during their match. You pick another player to "burn" in place of your main pick - this MUST be someone who was scheduled to play on the same day or in the same round, depending on the tournament specification.

If your first pick in the tournament loses and you want to activate your Save Pick, you will effectively receive a "free pass" to the next day/round. However, if you decide to use your Save Pick later in the tournament (i.e. after Pick 1), then you must select a player to "burn" AND your subsequent pick must win his match in order to earn full points from activating the Save Pick.

If any of the above is confusing, feel free to message me and I can provide an example to illustrate the idea.

Who gets them?
Save Picks for the 2020 Season will be allocated as follows:
- The 2019 SDL Year-End #1 receives 2 Save Picks.
- The remainder of the Top 4 in the Year-End Rankings will receive 1 Save Pick each.
- In addition, 1 Save Pick will be awarded to the person who advances furthest in the WTF Bonus competition (this does not apply to the YE No. 1, who already has 2 Save Picks).

Further to the last point, if there is a tie between 2 or more players in the Bonus Competition, then the additional Save Pick will be awarded to the person who progressed the furthest in the Regular WTF Competition.
If points are still tied, then the Save Pick will be awarded to the person who has accumulated the most points throughout 2018.
If there is still a tie, then the Save Pick will be awarded to the person who accumulated the most points in the Major Events.

When can I use the Save Picks?
- All Save Picks MUST be used up before the World Tour Finals next year, so the last tournament in which they are applicable will be the 2020 Paris Masters.
- Save Picks MUST be activated by the Round of 16 for the Slams and Indian Wells/Miami, and by the Quarter-Finals for all other tournaments.

I genuinely thought I'd picked Djokovic for the Top 8. And see I'm down as 'No pick.
Firstly, given all the confusion, and secondly the thread being posted, literally, late in the day, someone might have had the decency to tell me.
What a crappy end to a long year.
Cheers guys.
