Invisible tennis balls

These past 2 tournaments in Rome and Hamburg have been quite frustrating to try and watch since the ball is just not visible on sunny days on that clay. Can't wait for the hard court season to begin so I can finally watch without having to imagine where the ball is half of the time. Wimbledon will look good for about 2 days before the grass turns all yellow and those white balls will blend right in. Better look into something bigger than a 32" screen if you want to follow the action.

I think what PST90 is getting at is that Wimbledon has been using yellow balls for at least 10 or 15 years now.

I agree about the difficulty in seeing the ball in the last two clay tournaments. Even with my 20 inch TV's Brightness turned way down, and the Contrast turned way up, I couldn't see the ball.

Bring on the purple clay!

ibemad, you win the prize since i was expecting such a lame and idiotic reply from someone and you won, congratulations!!!

btw i have excellent vision, but tell you what, i'll go to the eye doctor if you resign from the peanut gallery, deal?

about Wimbledon, my error, i apologize, the ball still is not very visible at all on those worn out courts

there is a solution and i'll post it in another thread around Wimbledon time
