*IPrestige Mid and Dunlop HM 200g*:

I played with the IPrestige Mid this weekend and think this is a *great* all-around racket. I had it strung at 50lbs and will even go lower to 45-46lbs to increase the power a bit.

I'm thinking of also getting the Dunlop HM 200g since the specs are very similar to the IPrestige, maybe a bit more powerful. Any fans of the HM 200g, and how does it compare with the IPrestige ?
The 200g is selling for only $117 (not $200 like the LM Prestige !), so this looks attractive.

PS Those who know me previously will know that I have been a die-hard Yonex user for many years, and before this used the MPTour 1, the best Yonex I've used to date. In comparison, the IPrestige is more maneuverable, has better feel (more crisp and precise anyway), serves better, although has less power. :)

Weird! I too am a long term fan of Yonex, having used the MP-5i, moved to the Tour-1 and currently the RDX500 MID. I am trying a Dunlop 200G tonight in matchplay at my club as I wanted something a little more powerful and forgiving than the RDX-MID but without losing the weight/control.
I cant comment on the i.Prestige but have also tried my coach's LM Prestige MP and found it adequately powered, had good spin despite the 18x20 pattern and a nice feel. Only trouble for me was the weight was a little too high over time. When I saw the HM200G was similar I thought id give it a go. Will let you know what I think soon. 8)

Looking at the TW review scores, the Dunlop 200G is more powerful, but has less control, and slightly heavier. The 200G has that crisp, sharp feeling of the IPrestige. Let me know what you think.

Owned both the i.Prestige and the HM 200G. The i.Prestige Mid definitely possessed more power. Better options for you would be either the i.Prestige MP, Ti Radical MP, or the Ti Classic.
