The next Nadal forehand drops the ball short because he was forced to hit his forehand at serve-height.

Again, Nadal is forced to hit a really high forehand, and doesn't look comfortable doing it despite hitting it from the middle of the court when he wasn't rushed. It clips the net-tape so he nearly made an outright error.
Nadal can obviously hit a lot of topspin on his forehand, but remember his grip is not fully western, it is a semi-western grip. If he is forced to hit forehands at a contact point several feet above his head, perhaps his grip is not comfortable doing this, and also remember that in order to hit topspin you have to come over the ball. If the ball is already several feet above Nadal's head, there is not much space for Nadal to hit over, which may result in his subsequent forehand having less topspin on it - so his opponents can attack it.
