Is it possible that the Big Three will end with 20-20-20?

Federer is done, he will be 40 next months.
Rafa is already 35.
Djokovic was traumatized today and most certainly won't be able to withstand the pressure at the USO. And he also will turn 35 in 2022.

I wouldn't be surprised if neither of them ever wins a slam again.

The classic case of predict everything based on the most recent result. “Certainly won’t be able to withstand the pressure at the USO” is just nonsense. He has a better chance than anyone.

He's already lost to Evans and Karatsev this year. I doubt he's too worried. As soon as things are five sets he'll be fine.
Got to remember that he gets a day off between matches in slams too. He will also be reunited with his coaches and full team too. That helps for his preparation for matches and physical recovery. Yeah this isn’t a big deal and for me he’s ready for rest and to reset about before the us open.

Federer will have 1 last chance in Wimbledon next year. He has 5% of chance maybe. Unlikely but not impossible. I am convinced he isn't done winning other tournaments, though. He could still win things like Basel, Halle or 250, possibly a Masters like Paris or Cincinnati if the favorites aren't playing well.

Nadal is huge favorite in Roland until at least 2023. I am 90% sure he will win RG either next year or 2023. 50% sure he is still a contender in 2024.
He is in the top4 for all other slams, including Wimbledon. If Djokovic is taken out, he has as much chances as Zverev and Medvedev.

Djokovic is favorite of the next USO, the next AO (even if doesn't win USO) and favorite in Wimbledon until 2023. Top4 in Roland after Nadal but tied with Tsitsipas and Thiem. Unless he has an injury, he will have chances in the next 9 slams, minimum.

Not happening. One of Djokovic or Nadal will win one further slam to break the tie, even if it killed them.

Of course, likelihood is Djokovic strolls past on 23-25 slams.

But point is, there’s no way they all end on 20.

Exactly. Fed is ending third in the slam race no doubt about it. I highly doubt Djokovic or Nadal are stopping here. It will get more difficult for them though with the next generation players like Zverev, medvedevbor Tsitsipas closing gap but I still think they add a couple more yet.

Rafa is going strong to repeat as the 2021 U.S. singles champion. He did not play in 2020 but is the 2019 U.S. Singles Champion! Go Rafa!

Fed wins the US Open to make it 21-20-20

Announces his retirement shortly afterwards.

And the slam count will forever stand 21-20-20
