Is Performance in the 5th Set of a Grand Slam a true indicator of Mental Toughness & Durability for an ATG???

I found out these stats from a website, interesting numbers, looks like Borg, Sampras and Djokovic are the toughest of them all in the later stages of a Grand Slam. Interestingly Sampras got pushed to a 5th set overall 15.75% of the times but his frequency reduced to a mere 5% in the final and he won that encounter with Goran Ivanisevic. Borg and Djokovic are super dominant in Semi finals and Finals, overall too. In the case of Federer, the more he enters into the second weeks the more he struggles in 5 setters. In Nadal's case he has performed fairly well.

Are these numbers an indication of durability and mental toughness ?

Indeed, top class.
It is a cult series, has it own fanbase, the ratings also never dipped a lot for so long.

The first six series were perfection. The ones that followed were still good, but at that point, the fanbase was massive, so they milked it for what they could. But I would recommend it to anyone. No questions asked.

Yes, maybe a budget issue & a lack of good writing caused the dip from 7 till 15.

Well, the first six series was actually just one big super story, and that was the original story. The sixth one was meant to be where it all ended, they were building towards it, but the show just became so insanely popular that they simply couldn't stop it there, and then were writing season by by season more a less. It was still very good hence why we still got so much, and I wasn't complaining at all, but you can watch the first six and end there also since that was the original vision.
