James Blake as a commentator?

He's on Tennis Channel right now with Courier and Robinson and he is extremely insightful so far. Hope he considers becoming a full time commentator in the near future and I hope Tennis Channel will give him that opportunity. He should take some well deserved time off from tennis first and shouldn't dive right in. This should probably be in Former Pro Player but I'm going to hold off from that just yet.

more insightful than mcenroe and a better voice. Listening to him right now, he knows the current atp players the BEST out of all the current commentators considering he played most of them multiple times

He also doesn't over do it like Navratilova or Stubbs. He knows when a good time to start talking is and he knows when to let the viewers enjoy a little quiet time during the match

Navratilova's problem is that she drones on. She sounds like an air conditioner unit, never stopping and never interesting. And everything she says that she thinks is insightful, people have already concluded that in their minds before it even comes out of her mouth. Her descriptions and commentary is bane. That woman is a great tennis player but is a horrible commentator.

I would expect Blake to be a superb commentator.
