Layering of different overgrips

1)I am wondering if the different order of overgrips layered will affect playability or comfort. I need 3 layers of overgrip and wonder if I can use different layers underneath supergrap or wilson pro like a sweat absorber strip or something to use all the different quality of different overgrips?

2)I am using a leather replacement grip and is wondering if 3 layers of overgrips will decrease feel?

If you like a soft feel, then layering overgrips will increase feel. The opposite is true if you like a hard feel. Questions such as yours are personal and can only be answered according to your preferences.

I prefer harder feel use 1 layer of overgrip over leather. That is my preference. One of my hitting partner likes a soft feel and uses 2 layers of overgrip over sythnetic grip.

As for the overgrips, Supergrap and Wilson Pro are my favorites.

Good luck!

I like to feel my bevels and wondering 3 supergrap/pro will round the edges? And supergrap or wilson underneath or does it actually matter?

I think Heat Shrink Sleeve of TW can increase grip size but conserve your bevel feel.

3 overgrips will certainly smooth out the bevels. If you need to layer grips in order to increase your grip size, then I agree with the above poster that the way to go is a heat shrink sleeve. Your local pro shop should be able to provide this service for a minimal fee.

This might help a little when using multiple overgrips. The ones under the out-most overgrip could be wrapped with little or no overwrap. Then wrap the final one regularly.
