I for one am delighted it's Shriekapova vs Vika-zilla, the Screaming Montser in the Miami final.

Another big tournament final to highlight EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH WOMEN'S TENNIS. Sure the ratings will be better than the Wozzy-Bartoli final a few weeks ago.

But please, who wants to see two more women just bash the heck out of the ball, without any thought or decent mobility.....and on top of it, screech so loud while they're doing it.

No one will be talking about the "quality" of play in this match (because there will be no quality). It will be all about who shrieked the loudest.

Yup, that's women's tennis for you.

And if you watch, recall that the women get equal prize money as the men.....a perfect description of highway robbery and being ripped off.

I don't get it.

People complain that counterpunchers like Wozniacki/Radwanska are dull because they commit no errors, play crafty mixing up the spins and letting their oponents miss whilst not gonig for their own winners.

And people also say that the power players of the WTA like Sharapova/Azarenka are also dull because they play in the exact opposite style of Wozniacki/Radwanska.

So they're apparently boring whatever they do.

I was absolutely trying not to start a thread on the dynamics of this match. I know that I for one won't be watching the women's final. I have no issues with the ball bashing. It's the cacophony that's going to come with it that irks me.

During Azarenka's match against Cibulkova, I actually watched the match with ZERO volume. I simply cannot stand all that screeching!

I think I would enjoy watching the match.

And the combination of Azarenka and Sharapova on court battling makes me cringe. I can't imagine someone enjoying that final from an auditory perspective.
