The list is also missing matches. I think Thiem falls into next gen since he definitely is not lost gen since he started much later than them. If Kyrgios is next gen, then so is Thiem.
I agree that Thiem should be included. Maybe I’ll make the same pic of my own later.

I think most Fed fans knew this could happen. Federer is the worst of the Big3 against the new generation. Not sure what it is.

Tsitispas is 21, Federer is 38. Almost twice his age. I said yesterday I didn't fancy the old-timers chances against his SF opponent because players lose consistency when they age.

If the next gen really break through next and destroy the big 3 in all slams then so be it.

And tennis will finally be free. Ok we will have "Laver Cup" but stands will be finally packed with decent people.
Not gonna lie, that is one of the things I'm most looking forward to when Federer retires, as much as I appreciate and respect what he's brought to the sport.

People use the age excuse way too much when it suits, both were there, one came through.

Tsitsipas handles pace, and moves so much faster. Fed’s got to convert more BPs going forward if he wants to lift the big trophies.

Let's just hope we won't have any goats in future before they arrive at their goat destination.

Tsitsipas plays attacking tennis so he's old school in that respect unlike quite of a lot of his age group.

Well he needs something to make him feel better about what happened at Wimbledon. I don't know if he means that but it is a champions way of coping. Federer is a really really proud athlete.
For so many years now, and has built himself quite a reputation of being proud and salty.

Happy for Tsitsipas though. He played well, and has a good chance at winning the whole thing. He'd thoroughly deserve it.
Tsitsipas is everything we're looking for in the next gen: well-rounded game, good results at a young age, mental strength, and a capacity to routinely crush the Big 3.
