UnderratedSlam
G.O.A.T.
Almost half the singles matches are starting late due to doubles matches that ALWAYS have at least one tie-break and nearly always go into that silly mini-3rd set.
I'm getting tired of it. I am sure the singles players are too.
One would think that having JUST TWO bestof3 singles matches per day would ensure punctuality. But no. The doubles, which 5 people in the entire world follow, get scheduled only two hours earlier, and they keep interfering with the schedule.
It's embarrassing enough that this highly useless "doubles Masters Cup" even exists, let alone that it takes place at the same time and same venue as the singles.
Frankly, I'd scrap doubles as WTF altogether (since its biggest "star" is the "legendary" Granollers) but since it "has" to be played this week in London can't the organizers move it an HOUR EARLIER?
There are no crowds so WHY stick the doubles and the singles so close together? ATP organizers have literally no common sense.
Combining ATP WTF with WTA's Cup would be a LOT smarter. Or a junior boy's WTF filling in the gaps. Both options would be great.
This however is a joke.
