Lots of Yonex 2023 V Core PJ’s in Australia.

I haven’t had a chance to walk around the courts at Adelaide and now Melbourne but judging by TV coverage there are a lot of V Core PJ’s being used and quite a few E Zones as well with its blue hues. In the past it was wall to wall pure drives and aero drives but maybe that has moderated. Yes the new copper pro staffs and green blades feature but lots of red v cores. Are Yonex player sponsorships growing ? Anyone had a chance to see what’s going on at ground level ?

Yes.. Yonex is in the hands of a lot of players on both tours... they invested heavily in their sponsorship programs.
Hopefully it turns into positive cash flow for them...

Yonex took the route of Babolat in the early 2000s. Went after a ton of young players and when they came up the racquets are everywhere. Genius marketing but it’s playing the long game.

Yonex absolutely dominate the badminton market which is substantially bigger than the tennis market; they will no doubt continue to increase their tennis racket market share.

Tecnifibre has a grass roots approach..
They have 2 of the best in the world on both tours..
Imo.. they need to enhance their offer and expand the line... their players rackets are top tier.. they just need a good power/spin offer.. right now..that line is gross..
