Fish over Nadal :?
The foot issue looked semi-serious and he'll be feeling it tonight after the lidocaine and painkillers wear off.
i'm afraid it's a seminuevo trick, unfortunately...The foot issue looked semi-serious.
Lopez ftw, put up some good ratios during his match. Second pick would probably by Fed-Tsonga. Fed, while played a decent match, inexplicably dropped a few notches or two level wise since his last match. He needs to be either hopeful that Tsonga will suck tomorrow (which seems unlikely at this point given his recent performance) or step up his game.
I think Tomic has a real chance against Djokovic, he will force Djokovic to dictate play instead of counter punching. Tomic can really take the pace off the ball and move it around well.

LOL @ anyone that thinks Fish has a chance against Nadal.
Rafa is fine. He tweaked his foot, but it ended up being fine and he beat DelPo who's level is higher than Fish's could ever be. Mardy has nothing to hurt Rafa.
Delpo's level is higher than anyone else in the tournament right now. Thus Nadal got over the biggest hurdle easy and plain sailing to the title now.

The one and only chance for an upset is Tsonga vs Federer and that is very slim.
Tomic isnt ready for a win the magnitude of beating Djokovic in a slam yet. Maybe the Djokovic of last year he would be, but not the 2011 version.
If Nadal makes it to the court in one piece he cannot possibly lose to Fish in a slam.
And Murray will have no problem with a weary Lopez who played 4 hours today.
Ultimately there will be no upsets and the top 4 will be in the semis, where once again there will likely be no upsets seeing Federer and Nadal in the final, where once again there will likely be no upset and Nadal as Champion again.
I want to hear your upset picks. Choose wisely
If Bud says the foot's bad, so be it.
BTW, I was deked by NBC's poor coverage of the match, cutting off just prior to the first TB, so I knew nothing of the injury. Ergo, I Googled "Nadal Injury"...my phone blew up 20 seconds later!
BBC News tonight quoted Rafa as saying that he doesn't know if he will be able to play his QF. Having an MRI scan tonight.

Would you believe me if I told you that Lopez played a mixed doubles match after his 5 setter?
I guess he has already decided he has no chance in the quarters anyway, and is gunning for the mixed doubles title. Did he end up winning that to stay in there atleast?
I'd like to see Feli take the upset.
I'm not sure that can happen, though.
I voted Fish, but really i dont think there will be any upsets
I'm really not so sure Nadal will lose his QF, his injury scare didn't look nearly as serious as Murrays at the French for example.
It was probably just a moment of panic.
